Fontana Groundbreaking: Birtcher Engages with Next Generation

Birtcher Development recently broke ground on Birtcher Logistics Center Fontana in partnership with Oltmans Construction and Tomorrow’s Talent, a program designed to bridge young adults to the workforce. To commemorate the occasion, students from Southridge Tech Middle School attended the groundbreaking celebration at the project site and had an opportunity to interact with professionals from both public and private sectors.

Brooke Birtcher Gustafson, managing director of Birtcher Development said: “Breaking ground on this project is a great milestone for our company. We wanted to find a meaningful way for students to grow through hands-on experience with our team as well as city officials.”  The 330,048-square-foot distribution facility is expected be completed by early 2024; listing brokers Gerry Harvey and Craig McKenzie of Kidder Mathews are representing it.
