Recent activity across Florida’s commercial real estate sector features a mix of leadership changes, platform expansions, and office openings that highlight ongoing investment in talent and operations.

LQ Commercial has elevated Kris Kral to the role of Market Leader, citing his performance, leadership, and contributions to the firm’s growth. Previously a Senior Associate, Kral focuses on retail leasing and has represented a range of national retailers throughout the Tampa Bay market. His client roster includes brands such as Ross, Ollie’s Bargain Outlets, LA Fitness, Club Studio, Michael’s, and TopGolf, reflecting a broad footprint in regional retail site selection and occupancy.

CBRE has opened a new office in Fort Myers, Florida, adding to its physical presence in the state. The 3,512-square-foot office is located at 13350 Metro Parkway, Suite 210, at the intersection of Metro Parkway and Daniels Parkway in south Fort Myers. Seven brokerage professionals will operate from the new location, including Adam Palmer, Derek Bornhorst, Patrick Fraley, Jim Shiebler, Adam Bornhorst, Steve Wood, and Edward Larsen, expanding CBRE’s on-the-ground brokerage capabilities in the local market.

PREMIER Design + Build Group is reinforcing its Florida platform by launching multiple new projects in 2026 and establishing a dedicated Tampa office as its operational hub for the broader Southeastern region. The firm’s Southeast footprint spans North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, with the regional team led by Executive Vice President Jason Hart and Sean Tyrrell. The expanded presence is intended to support execution across the growing project pipeline in these states.

In Miami, Aria Development Group has announced senior promotions and new hires within its investment and design functions. The company has added Antonella Jahn as Director, Interior Design & Strategy, and Jake Maya as Director, Acquisitions & Development, both based in its Miami offices. Aria is advancing several developments in the city, including 2200 Brickell and 600 Miami Worldcenter, a large-scale condominium project that is expected to reach completion at the end of the year.

Hillpointe, a vertically integrated real estate development and investment management firm focused on attainable multifamily housing across the Sun Belt, has appointed Nyssa Delos Santos as Vice President of Centralized Operations. In this newly defined role, Delos Santos will oversee the strategy, development, and optimization of Hillpointe’s centralized service operations, supporting the firm’s platform as it scales its multifamily portfolio.
