Skanska has promoted Frank Longo, a 20-year veteran of the company, to Vice President – Account Manager in South Florida. In addition to continuing his leadership on projects he previously managed as Vice President – Project Executive, Longo will now oversee the firm’s project pipeline growth and client relationship management across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. He will manage projects from preconstruction through construction across these core markets.
Greg Rainey has joined Cushman & Wakefield as Managing Director. Recognized as one of North Florida’s top multifamily investment sales advisors, Rainey now joins the firm’s Florida Multifamily Advisory Group. He began his commercial real estate career as an intern at Berkadia while attending Florida State University and rose to the position of Senior Director before making the move.
JLL Capital Markets facilitated the sale of The Preserve, a newly constructed, 192-unit Class A+ luxury multifamily community located near Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. JLL represented the seller, Becovic Management Group, in the transaction. The buyer was Safe Harbor Investments, LLC. The JLL Investment Sales and Advisory team was led by Managing Directors Cliff Taylor and Joe Ayers, Director Ryan Hixon, and Associates Mike Scott and Tucker Brooks.
Minto Communities USA has relocated its corporate headquarters to the Promenade at Coconut Creek, a mixed-use development near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The developer, known for creating new home communities throughout Florida and South Carolina, has secured 15,530 square feet of Class A office space at the Promenade — around 20% larger than its previous location in Coconut Creek, which it had occupied for more than two decades.
