Five Below, Inc., a specialty value retailer, has chosen North Plaza Shopping Center in Parkville, Maryland as the location for its seventh store in Baltimore County. The company is based in Philadelphia and currently operates over 1,600 stores across 43 states. They have signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) for a 12,000 square foot space at the retail center located at 8980 Waltham Woods Road.
The new Five Below store will be opening next year in the former Gabe’s Stores space. Cherene Keenan of Continental Realty Corporation represented the landlord while Andrew Feldman of KLNB Retail represented the tenant during this transaction.
North Plaza Shopping Center is anchored by Safeway, Ross Dress for Less and Floor & Decor and features more than thirty tenants including national chains as well as regional and locally-owned retailers, restaurants and service providers. Kristina O’Keefe , CRC’s Vice President of Commercial Division stated that “value-oriented retailers like Five Below appeal to a wide range of customers.”
