Bright Realty is making significant strides in the development of a mixed-use project worth $1.3 billion in Castle Hills, Lewisville. The company is now preparing to introduce the retail component of this massive undertaking.
According to reports from the Dallas Business Journal, construction for Crown Centre – a 140-acre development in Lewisville – will commence either later this year or early next year. The first phase of retail space will span over 13,000 square feet.
This announcement comes on the heels of another major milestone achieved by Bright Realty with their four-story office building called Crown Centre II opening for leasing in fall 2024 at a cost of $50 million. This was preceded by groundbreaking ceremonies held back in April 2023.
Crown Centre II spans over an impressive area measuring approximately 147,500 square feet and sits adjacent to Crown Centre I which opened its doors back in 2020 and has since been almost fully leased out with only about five percent vacancy remaining. Both buildings are situated on a sprawling parcel covering an area equivalent to that occupied by Sam Rayburn Tollway.
Upon completion, Crown Centre is expected to feature up to two thousand multifamily units along with three million square feet designated for office space as well as up-to-500 hotel rooms.
