Bright Realty is making significant progress on its $1.3 billion mixed-use development in Castle Hills, located in Lewisville. The company is now preparing to launch the retail portion of the project.
According to a report from the Dallas Business Journal, construction for Crown Centre – a 140-acre development – is expected to begin later this year or early next year. The first phase of retail will consist of 13,000 square feet.
This comes after Bright Realty reached a major milestone with the opening of Crown Centre II, a four-story office building worth $50 million that began leasing in fall 2024. Construction for this office space started back in April 2023.
Crown Centre II sits adjacent to Crown Centre I, which opened its doors back in 2020 and currently has an occupancy rate of around 95%. Both buildings are situated on a parcel spanning across 140 acres near Sam Rayburn Tollway.
Once completed, Crown Centre will feature up to2 ,000 multifamily units along with three million square feet dedicated for offices and up to500 hotel rooms as well.
