**Jersey City’s West Side Square Celebrates Topping Out of First Residential Tower**
The development team behind West Side Square (WSS) in Jersey City has officially topped off its first residential tower, The Residences at West Side Square. The milestone was celebrated with a community event attended by city leaders, project partners, and supporters.
The Residences at West Side Square, located at 1075 West Side Avenue, is the first of several planned components within the larger mixed-use development. The 12-story tower will feature 477 rental apartments and anchor a dynamic urban destination that will offer an outdoor piazza, curated retail spaces, pet-friendly amenities, a welcoming lobby café, restaurants, and public art installations.
The development is the result of a collaboration between Lanterra Developments, Westdale Properties, Lantree Developments, and Altree Developments.
The topping-out ceremony featured remarks from key leaders of the project, including Zev Mandelbaum, President and CEO of Altree Developments; Raphael Mandelbaum, Principal and Vice President of Lantree Developments; and Mitchell Cohen, COO of Westdale Properties. They were joined by Hudson County Commissioner William O’Dea and New Jersey State Senator Raj Mukherji, who presented a Senate Proclamation honoring the project for its role in the revitalization of Jersey City’s West Side.
