### First Residential Project of Gowanus Rezoning Begins Move-Ins

Residential move-ins have commenced at 420 Carroll, marking the first mixed-income development to arise from the 2021 Gowanus Neighborhood Rezoning. The two-building waterfront project at 420 Carroll Street comprises 360 homes, with 90 apartments designated for families earning between 40% and 100% of the area median income.

“As the first project to emerge from the 2021 Rezoning, 420 Carroll represents a new era of growth in Gowanus. Reaching the milestone of residential move-ins is not only a meaningful moment for us but for the entire neighborhood and community,” said Matt Schwartz, co-CEO of The Domain Companies, the project’s developer.

Further signaling the Brooklyn neighborhood’s evolution from its industrial past, Quinlan Development Group and GTIS Partners have unveiled new renderings of Longview, a residential development currently under construction at the intersection of Park Slope and Gowanus. Located at 380 4th Avenue, the project will feature 197 residences, including 50 affordable units, alongside 30,000 square feet of amenity spaces and 14,000 square feet of retail.
