### Aggie Square First Phase Set to Open at UC Davis
The grand opening of the first phase of **Aggie Square** is scheduled for **May 2**. Developed by **Wexford Science + Technology** in partnership with **UC Davis** and the **city of Sacramento**, Aggie Square is a mixed-use development located on the **UC Davis Health Campus** in Sacramento.
The initial phase will feature approximately **808,000 square feet** of **Class A** life sciences research labs, technology and office space, along with housing and retail space.
“Once the entire Aggie Square project is up and running, it will support **3,200 jobs annually** and generate approximately **$500 million** in annual regional economic impact in the Sacramento region,” said **UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May**, citing analyses from **Economic and Planning Systems Inc.**
To handle leasing, Wexford has engaged a **Cushman & Wakefield** team, which includes local office and technology brokers **Ron Thomas, Bruce Hohenhaus, and Kris Kalmbach**, along with **Marc Pope and Brett Ward** from the firm’s **National Life Sciences Practice Group** in Northern and Southern California.
