### Aggie Square First Phase Set to Open at UC Davis
The grand opening of the first phase of **Aggie Square** is scheduled for May 2. This mixed-use development is a collaboration between **Wexford Science + Technology**, **UC Davis**, and the **city of Sacramento**, located on the **UC Davis Health Campus** in Sacramento.
The initial phase of **Aggie Square** will feature approximately **808,000 square feet** of **Class A life sciences research labs**, **technology and office space**, as well as **housing and retail space**.
“Once the entire **Aggie Square** project is up and running, it will support **3,200 jobs annually** and generate approximately **$500 million in annual regional economic impact** in the Sacramento region,” said **UC Davis Chancellor Gary S. May**, citing analyses from **Economic and Planning Systems Inc.**
To manage leasing for the project, Wexford has enlisted a **Cushman & Wakefield** team, which includes local office and technology brokers **Ron Thomas, Bruce Hohenhaus**, and **Kris Kalmbach**, along with **Marc Pope** and **Brett Ward** from the firm’s **National Life Sciences Practice Group** in **Northern and Southern California**.
