Rockpoint and Oppidan Investment Co. have successfully sold Building I, a 233,818-square-foot industrial property located in Apex Commerce Center, North Carolina. The Class A asset was acquired by LaSalle Investment Management for $100 million as part of the four-building industrial property.
According to Commercial Edge reports, construction on the 847,171-square-foot park began in 2022 with Building I being completed one year later. The remaining three facilities at Apex Commerce Center are expected to be occupied between July and September of 2025.
Building I is a rear-load facility featuring impressive specifications such as clear heights of up to 32 feet, speed bays measuring up to 60 feet and truck courts spanning over an area of approximately180 feet. In addition to two drive-in doors available for use at all times; there are also twelve dock-high doors with an option for adding an additional thirty-seven if needed. Situated at1251 Burma Drive,the warehouse is conveniently located just six miles away from North Carolina Route540 which is currently undergoing expansion plans aimed towards extending it around the Greater Raleigh area.The Research Triangle ParkandRaleigh-Durham International Airportare both situated approximately twenty-one miles north.
