King Street Properties has announced the completion of its first building at The Landing, located in Burlingame’s Bayfront neighborhood. This seven-story building, named 1699 Bayshore, offers 300,000 square feet of space and serves as the anchor for the 4.5-acre campus designed to support growing life science companies.
According to Sonia Taneja, managing director overseeing King Street’s West Coast operations, The Landing provides an ideal opportunity for life sciences companies to establish a presence in Burlingame and aligns with the city’s vision for this area as a hub for scientific innovation. She also notes that this development is setting a new standard for purpose-built lab spaces on the Mid-Peninsula.
Construction is currently underway on The Landing’s second building – 1701 Bayshore – which will offer six stories and approximately 203,500 square feet of space right next door to 1699 Bayshore.
