"First Activity Seen in 7-Tower Nashville Development"

Demolition has commenced on a former car dealership to make way for the highly anticipated MidCity Nashville, a seven-tower mixed-use development. Led by GBT and Monarch Alternative Capital, this project will bring new life to the area.

The first phase of MidCity Nashville will feature four towers surrounding a central pavilion. Plans also include creating a new street that will connect McGavock Street and Broadway through the center of the site. The second phase will add three more towers around a pedestrian plaza and two additional pavilions.

This expansive development offers an array of residential, retail, office space options with potential for future inclusion of a hotel. The buildings range in height from 20 stories to 35 floors.

In December 2021, GBT Realty acquired the site for $110 million from Beaman’s auto dealership according to reports from Nashville Business Journal. The project team includes renowned architecture firm Gensler and CBRE’s local office in Nashville.

Exciting progress is underway at this bustling location as evidenced by recent activity at what promises to be one of Nashville’s most impressive developments – MidCity!
