“Find Luxury Living In Hutto With Upcoming 330-Unit BTR Rental Community”

Find Taylor Morrison, a homebuilder, has been given tentative approval to move ahead on a 330-unit rental community in Hutto. The residential community is called CTC at Emory Crossing. It will feature 80% detached homes and 20% attached homes spread across 56.3 acres located at the southeast corner of Ed Schmidt Boulevard and Emory Crossing.

At a recent town hall meeting, Hutto voted to annex the property for the development and establish it as Planned Unit Development (PUD) with an additional provision requiring that CTC at Emory Crossing include 20.9 acres of public parkland. Ashley Bailey from Hutto commented that this development would act as an important link in their trail system while also providing housing-type options that are currently underrepresented in their city: “The proposal shows [CTC at Emory Crossing] as a transitional area between single-family development and roadway, providing trail extension” said Bailey

This new project promises to bring much-needed housing variety for residents living within or around Hutto city limits while simultaneously contributing towards improving local infrastructure such as parks systems
