### Plans for The Parque Move Forward for Final Review

Scottsdale developers leading a $1 billion mixed-use project are refining their plans. George Kurtz, the founder of CrowdStrike, acquired the former Cracker Jax amusement park for $55 million in 2022, along with the nearby Promenade Shopping Center for $180 million.

According to reports, the latest site plans for The Parque have been submitted to the city’s Development Review Board for approval. The board is scheduled to meet again on March 20 to discuss the project. The 30-acre development, located at 16001 N Scottsdale Road, is set to feature approximately 1,236 residential units, a 223-room hotel, and a 150,000-square-foot office building, totaling more than 2 million square feet of planned space.

The proposed first phase of The Parque includes two residential multifamily buildings—an 89-unit apartment building and a 70-unit condo building—both incorporating ground-floor retail or restaurant space. Additionally, four separate restaurant spaces, totaling about 40,000 square feet, and a 1.7-acre central park are part of the development’s initial phase.

With final reviews approaching, The Parque continues to progress toward transforming this key Scottsdale location into a dynamic mixed-use destination.
