Final Approval Needed for New Crescent Tower

If approved by the Dallas City Council next month, the 30-story Crescent Point Tower would rise at the tip of The Crescent in Uptown, Dallas’ prominent mixed-use development. The proposed apartment high-rise would feature approximately 215 housing units and be situated at the intersection of Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue.

According to the *Dallas Business Journal*, the residential project is expected to go before the city council toward the end of March, following a unanimous vote by the City Plan Commission to approve rezoning for the site.

The development comes from **Crescent Real Estate LLC**, the firm that originally introduced The Crescent to Uptown Dallas in 1986. Today, The Crescent is a signature 10-acre development encompassing a hotel, three office towers, and a luxury retail center, spanning a total of 1.3 million square feet.

Plans for the new tower also include two outdoor dining areas, ground-floor retail space, and a newly landscaped parkway along Maple Avenue. If approved, the multifamily project is expected to be completed by 2027.
