Ferris, TX Real Estate: First Full-Scale Development Lands

Ferris, a town of 2,700 residents in Texas, is set to be the home of a $35 million housing and retail project. This will be the first institutional quality development built in this area. Henry S. Miller Real Estate Services has announced that Casitas at Shaw Creek will feature 204 residential units across six three-story buildings as well as a 5,000 square foot retail building.

The project offers 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom rental units with amenities such as clubhouse access, fitness center useage, lounge areas for relaxation poolside or indoors; dog parks for pet owners; BBQ grilling areas; and ample parking spaces available onsite. Construction is expected to start during spring 2024 with an estimated two year completion timeline from then on out.

Located about 20 miles south of Dallas off I-45 highway , Ferris is known for its mineral rich soil which made it locally famous back in 1950s when it was referred to by locals as “Brick Capital of the Nation” .
