Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP) has recently announced that The First Electronics Corporation (FEC) is now the first tenant to occupy 400 Wood Road, a newly redeveloped 157,000-square-foot Class-A GMP/advanced manufacturing facility in Braintree, MA. FEC specializes in custom electrical assemblies for harsh environments.
According to Mayor Erin Joyce, the success of many manufacturing engineering businesses can be attributed to this location’s accessibility and quality utility services. As more businesses and amenities populate this underutilized corridor of Wood Road over the next few years, workers will have even more opportunities on campus.
In August 2019, HRP acquired the property which has now achieved full occupancy with Integra LifeSciences occupying its 100,000 square feet visible along I-93. This move by FEC will create over 200 permanent jobs at their new Braintree manufacturing space with HRP as their partner for growth and development.
