Family Trust Divests La Mesa Mixed-Use Property

Marcus & Millichap recently facilitated the sale of Maple & University, a mixed-use property in La Mesa spanning 5,950 square feet. The transaction was valued at $1,925,000.

Together Hospice Care was the buyer for this property and they were represented by Joseph Gutierrez and Nick Totah from Marcus & Millichap’s San Diego Downtown office. On the other hand, Kevan McDougal from Enduring Real Estate represented the seller – Leon F. Jacques’ family trust.

The subject properties are situated at 7660 and 7762-7766 University Ave., as well as 4610 Maple Ave., all located in La Mesa. These properties were built back in 1960 and comprise of one commercial office space, one single-family residential unit along with a two-story multifamily building consisting of five units.

This recent divestment by a family trust highlights an ongoing trend within La Mesa’s mixed-use real estate market.
