Fairfield Residential, in partnership with Griffin Capital, has commenced construction on 2300 North Tryon – a five-story apartment complex consisting of 307 units located north of uptown Charlotte. According to the Charlotte Business Journal, the developers have filed a building permit valued at $4.12 million with Mecklenburg County for this project. Last year, Fairfield acquired the 3.6-acre parcel at 2220 N. Tryon St., for $9.15 million.
The first units are expected to be completed by late-2025 and full delivery is anticipated in 2026.The project architect is Dwell Design Studio while Bolton & Menk serves as the civil engineer and Fairfield acts as general contractor.
This mid-rise community will offer an array of studio through two-bedroom apartments and boast various tenant amenities such as a pool, fitness center, co-working lounge complete with coffee bar and private offices; rooftop lounge; community dog park along with pet spa; outdoor kitchen space.
