Mesirow, an independent and employee-owned financial services firm, has recently signed a 10-year extension on their lease at 353 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s River North area. The building is LEED Platinum-certified and Mesirow will continue to occupy over 100,000 square feet with options for expansion.
According to Natalie Brown, CEO of Mesirow: “We are delighted to remain in our longstanding headquarters and look forward to the enhancements that our renovated spaces will bring. This solidifies our reputation as a top employer in Chicago.”
The lease extension was facilitated by Ari Klein and Scott Shelbourne from Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of Mesirow. CBRE’s Mike Kazmierczak and Seth Tuscher handle leasing for the building.

In 2014 Tishman Speyer sold the office tower measuring nearly 1.2 million square feet for $715 million to Heitman.
