Acumen Fund, a non-profit focused on impact investment to combat global poverty, has extended its 11,743 square feet of office condominium space lease at 40 Worth Street in TriBeCa for another 11 years. Acumen first moved into the building in 2016.
The 800,000-square-foot Merchants Square Building was constructed in 1929 and is home to other non-profit organizations such as the Legal Aid Society and Innocence Project. Nick Farmakis and John A. Mambrino of Savills represented Acumen Fund Inc., while Jeffrey Gural and Roy Lapidus of GFP Real Estate represented 40 Worth Street Associates LLC – the commercial condominium owner/landlord – during this transaction.
Gural expressed his excitement about Acumen’s continued presence at 40 Worth: “We are thrilled that they will maintain their presence while continuing their mission of investing in new technologies and startups that target communities in need.”
