GFP Real Estate, LLC has successfully negotiated two lease extensions for 4,390 square feet of commercial space at 80 Eighth Ave. in Chelsea. The Office & Professional Employees International Union, representing over 100,000 members and a tenant since 2003, renewed its lease on the second floor for four years with Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate as their broker. Additionally, OPEIC’s neighbor on the third floor – music company Third Circle Music Inc., also extended their lease for another term with Mandell representing both parties.
The historic neo-gothic building was constructed in 1929 by architect William Whitehall and offers a total of185,000 square feet of commercial space.
