A new hotel is set to make its debut in Nashville, as Dream Capital Management has submitted plans to the Metro Planning Department for an eight-story project on Fifth Street near the East Bank. The development will feature two Marriott-branded hotels and is expected to be a major addition to the city’s hospitality offerings.
According to initial designs, the third level of the building will boast an outdoor amenity area complete with a pool, fire pit, and dining and seating areas. On ground level, there will be approximately 7,000 square feet of retail space available.
Leading design for this project are Nashville-based Kimley-Horn and Charlotte-based Oda Architecture firms. The 1.41-acre property is owned by Professional Services Industries who purchased it in 1991 for $58,290. It sits just a short drive from Nashville’s newest attraction -the Tennessee Titans stadium project.
Currently occupying this site is a one-story brick building housing Intertek’s local office- a global company specializing in research development and manufacturing services.
Dream Capital already operates several hotels across Georgia including locations in Alabama as well as Chattanooga and Knoxville cities within Tennessee state borders.
