"Exploring JFK's Legacy and the Upcoming Election with Larry Sabato on Walker Webcast"

On the recent episode of Walker Webcast, political analyst Larry Sabato joined Walker & Dunlop CEO Willy Walker to discuss the 60th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Despite popular belief that a conspiracy was involved, Sabato shared his expert analysis on the event and how it has shaped Kennedy’s lasting legacy.

Sabato, author of The Kennedy Half-Century: The Presidency, Assassination, and Lasting Legacy of John F. Kennedy , has extensively researched documents related to the assassination and found no evidence to change what is already known about that fateful day in November 1963.

Despite not having any living memory or personal connection to those years, students in Sabato’s classes are still captivated by JFK when he plays tapes of his speeches and press conferences. This mystique surrounding him often outshines other Presidents who served two terms and accomplished more during their time in office.

As for upcoming elections, Sabato offered insights as editor-in-chief for nonpartisan political newsletter “Sabato’s Crystal Ball”. However, he cautioned against assuming a Trump-Biden rematch will be on the ballot come November 2024 as much can happen within this timeframe including strong third-party contenders or age-related issues with either front-runner.

In case neither candidate wins enough electoral votes necessary for presidency according to Constitution provisions not used since 1824 would kick in where each state delegation would have one vote – something which should have been changed decades ago according to Saboto who called it “a nightmare”.
