Tech giant Apple has filed plans to develop a four-story, 282,000-square-foot office building on an 8-acre site in Cupertino, CA. The project will be located at the intersection of Vallco Parkway and North Tantau Avenue and replace an existing Apple building with 2,300 square feet of ground floor retail space.
Apple continues to expand its footprint in Silicon Valley’s Cupertino despite many tech companies recently cutting back on real estate holdings. The current building can hold up to 700 workers but the new development is expected to accommodate twice as many employees when completed.
Cupertino officials have not yet approved the project so there is no set date for construction commencement at this time.
