The newest addition to Vilano Beach’s hospitality scene is the Hyatt Place, offering a unique experience compared to other properties under the same brand. This 120-room hotel boasts a restaurant and rooftop bar, as well as impressive event spaces including a 7,000 square foot ballroom and an expansive indoor/outdoor flex space spanning over 20,000 square feet. The building permit for this $15.4 million structure was issued in 2019 at its location on Vilano Road.
According to reports from the Jacksonville Business Journal, there has been significant development in the Vilano area lately. The Holiday Inn Express has recently opened its doors at 140 Vilano Road with plans for a new dining establishment called “Vilano Main Street Diner” on site.
