Expansion "Volkswagen Finishes $114M Expansion of Freeport Campus"

Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) has recently finished construction on their new $114 million Port of Freeport facility, which was led by KDC. The state-of-the-art campus spans 120 acres and is located approximately 63 miles south of Houston. It will serve as a major Gulf Coast hub for the import and processing of up to 140,000 vehicles annually from brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche. This new facility will support about one-third of VWGoA’s U.S. retail dealers.
