Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano is investing $343 million in a new 8-story tower and 696 parking spaces. This project will build upon the recently completed construction on the current hospital.
Located at 6200 W. Parker Road, Texas Health Plano has just finished work on its new garage, but construction on the tower will not begin until summer of 2025. The anticipated opening for this expansion is set for fall of 2028, which will increase the hospital’s capacity from its current number of beds (230) to a total of 400.
The upcoming project takes advantage of previous construction efforts at the hospital by utilizing space that was recently completed. This includes an operating room dedicated to neuroscience and heart and vascular procedures such as endovascular aneurysm repair and blood clot removal from arteries. Additionally, there has been recent expansion in their neonatal intensive care unit with seven hotel-style rooms added specifically for families whose infants are receiving care.
In addition to expanding their facilities in Plano, Texas Health also acquired a plot of land measuring over twenty acres located at Celina’s northwest corner where Dallas North Tollway meets Collin County Outer Loop.
