The Kidder Mathews Simon Anderson apartment brokerage team has recently expanded with the addition of Vice President Elijah Piper and Associate Tony Herrmann. Both brokers have joined the firm from First Western Properties.
Although based in Seattle, Piper and Herrmann will be operating from Kidder Mathews’ Tacoma office, where they will focus on selling 10-100-unit apartment properties in Pierce County. Prior to joining First Western Properties, Piper gained experience at Marcus & Millichap as part of a top-performing team that averaged over $150 million in annual transaction volume.
Simon stated that “Seattle’s multifamily market is finding its new rhythm and investors are regaining their footing.” He also mentioned that expanding their team and service area will allow them to better serve clients across all markets they own.
According to the latest Q4 2024 Puget Sound Multifamily Market Report by the team, there has been a significant rebound in transaction volume with sales reaching $983 million in Q3 2024 – an impressive increase of 83% year-over-year. This growth reflects positive trends for investors looking into multifamily properties within this region.
