CBRE has strengthened its U.S. Debt and Structured Finance capabilities by welcoming three industry veterans as vice chairs: Mark Fluent, David Milestone, and Bill Moyer. Based in Los Angeles, the trio brings a combined experience of over 75 years and have successfully closed commercial real estate financing transactions worth more than $150 billion. Fluent and Moyer join CBRE from Deutsche Bank (DB), while Milestone comes from Newmark.
Fluent has been in the industry for over 30 years and previously served as head of originations at DB. During his time there, he led his team to establish the firm as a top player in CMBS origination and high-yield balance sheet/special situation loans.
Moyer spent 17 years at DB where he divided his responsibilities between overseeing originations in the Southwest with Fluent’s team while also working on large loan deals in New York City. With more than 25 years of expertise under his belt, Moyer is a valuable addition to CBRE’s team.
Milestone brings over two decades of experience to CBRE with a proven track record of originating debt transactions across Western U.S., primarily catering to institutional clients. He played an instrumental role at Eastdil Secured earlier on in his career where he helped grow their debt platform from $4 billion annually to over $60 billion.
Overall, these new additions further strengthen CBRE’s position as one of the leading players within Debt & Structured Finance sector.
