The Actors Federal Credit Union has recently announced the extension of their 10-year lease at 1560 Broadway in Times Square. This credit union, which has been located in the building since 1991, will be expanding their space from 9,130 to 10,717 square feet on the fifth floor by early 2024.
Originally built in 1925 and undergoing major redevelopment in2014,the historic17-story building spans over271,000 square feet. The landlord for this property is represented by Alan Steinberg of GFP Real Estate while Joseph Harkins of Cushman & Wakefield represents the tenant – Actors Federal Credit Union.
According to Steinberg,”Actors Federal Credit Union required additional space and we were able to provide them with a solution on the same floor – a beneficial outcome for both parties involved.” This expansion news comes as no surprise given that Times Square continues to attract businesses due its prime location and vibrant atmosphere.
This announcement marks another milestone for Connect CRE as it continues its mission towards connecting commercial real estate professionals across various markets.
