The current development includes 40+ shops and restaurants, 260 single-family homes, over 1,000 multi-family residences, and office space totaling 165,000 square feet. The expansion would bring additional amenities such as restaurants with outdoor seating areas and luxury rental residences with secure parking. Other planned features include multiple open spaces for entertainment and activities such as music performances or art exhibitions.
The master developer is seeking a zoning change and master plan amendment to accommodate the proposed extension of Lakeside which is expected to add significant value to the already $2 billion project. Realty Capital’s most recent submittal outlines plans for a four-story office building along with high-end hotel accommodations from well-known brands.
