"Expanding Birkdale Village: The Owners' Hope"

The owners of Birkdale Village in Huntersville have proposed a $180 million expansion plan that includes adding office space, a hotel, and apartments while also expanding the current retail offerings. The development group behind this project consists of North American Properties, Jamestown, and Nuveen Properties. In order to move forward with their plans, they are seeking a zoning change.
