**Forney’s Village at Gateway to Add Evo Entertainment Complex**

The Village at Gateway in Forney, Texas, is set to become one of the largest retail developments in the Southwest United States, with over 820,000 square feet of retail space planned. Developed by Street Level Investments, the project will be executed in phases, blending major retail, entertainment, and residential components.

A key addition to the development will be Evo Entertainment, a 75,000-square-foot entertainment venue featuring bowling, movie theaters, gaming, and a variety of food and beverage options. The Forney City Council recently approved a $4 million incentive package to bring Evo to the Village at Gateway. Once completed, it is expected to be the largest Evo location in the state. Evo currently operates three other facilities across North Texas, in Addison, Southlake, and Waxahachie.

The first phase of the project, scheduled to open in summer 2026, will include 500,000 square feet of retail space with anchor tenants such as Target, H-E-B, and Home Depot. The second phase will deliver an additional 200,000 square feet and will include the Evo venue. The development will also feature 650 multifamily residential units, adding a residential component to this expansive mixed-use project.
