Essex Realty Group, Inc., the Chicago-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced Monday that Brian Kochendorfer has been promoted to president and become a partner of the company.
Kochendorfer joined Essex in 2014 as Director with a focus on selling multifamily assets in the Chicago MSA. He then led Essex’s suburban team and was promoted to managing broker in 2020.
Essex Realty said Kochendorfer has been an integral part of their success since joining nine years ago, contributing significantly to their record sales volume over consecutive years.
Doug Imber had served as President for more than three decades before being replaced by Kochendorfer; “Brian’s acumen, steadiness, integrity, vision and commitment make him an ideal choice for leading Essex,” said Imber who will remain with them going forward.
