Essential Signs Secures New Lease at Brooklyn Mixed-Use Complex

Ship Essential, a retail and e-commerce fulfillment firm, has signed a lease for 20,070 square feet of space on the fifth floor of Liberty Bklyn in Sunset Park Brooklyn. Madison Capital and Salmar Properties are the landlords of this 1.3 million-square-foot industrial and office complex located at 850 3rd Avenue. The facility recently underwent redevelopment to include features such as a 3.2 acre Brooklyn Grange rooftop farm, 386 parking spots, 60K sqft ground level loading zone with onsite dining options available; reinforced floor loads ranging from 200 to 500 pounds per square foot; energy efficient windows; updated electrical/HVAC systems etc., providing companies with flexible solutions for their operations according to Jonathan Ratner (Managing Director & Head Investment Management – Madison Capital).
