Greystone has appointed Eric Welby as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, he will be responsible for contributing to the firm’s conventional and alternative financing platforms, while also serving as an advisor to Greystone’s executive leadership team. With 16 years of experience at Greystone, Welby brings a deep understanding of the company’s diverse lending, servicing and investment businesses.
As Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer in his previous roles with Greystone, Welby was instrumental in ensuring accounting practices were up-to-date; enhancing financial reporting transparency; leveraging technology for increased departmental efficiency; driving innovation within the organization. Prior to joining Greystone in 2007 he worked as a Senior Associate at BDO USA LLP.
