Equity Oak Acquires San Diego Industrial Properties in Off-Market Deals

Equity Oak Ventures, LLC recently completed an all-cash acquisition of two Industrial/R&D assets in north San Diego County for $22.5 million. The portfolio consists of a 44,757-square-foot industrial/R&D corporate headquarter asset within the Carlsbad Research Park and a 42,862-square foot industrial business park located at 11225 – 11245 W. Bernardo Ct., Rancho Bernardo.

Chris Elmendorf, co-founder and managing director at Equity Oak stated that “these assets present significant untapped value given their prime locations in submarkets with strong market fundamentals” and that they intend to maximize this value potential through strategic operating partnership with Five Horizon Partners as well as a confidential limited partner who also participated in the off market opportunity which was originated by Equity Oak itself.
