Equinox Hospitality Acquires Property in Marin County

Equinox Hospitality has acquired the Four Points by Sheraton San Rafael Marin County for $38 million. This marks the fifth addition to its hotel portfolio in the past year, and Equinox is on a determined expansion path with more than $100 million in hotel deal volume. The new owner plans to unlock potential through renovation and rebranding, aligning it with Tribute by Marriott.

Adam Suleman, principal of San Francisco-based Equinox commented on this acquisition: “The property’s strategic location — being at the heart of key sites in Marin, close to San Francisco and Wine Country as well as next door to a billion-dollar retail and development zone — lends itself to a wealth of opportunities.” Renovation plans are set for next year.
