EQR Acquires 2 Atlanta-Area Properties for $180M

EQR has recently made two significant acquisitions in the Atlanta area, adding to their impressive portfolio. The first property, Richmond Row apartment complex in Suwanee, Georgia was purchased for $98 million and consists of 344 units that are currently undergoing lease-up. According to Multifamily Dive, this asset is projected to stabilize at a 5.4% acquisition cap rate in its second year and offers monthly rents ranging from $1,355 to $2,990.

In addition to the Richmond Row property, EQR also acquired The Baxter for approximately $81.7 million at an acquisition cap rate of 5.1%. This four-story complex located in Decatur was built in 2019 and features 290 units with rental prices between $1,560 and $3
