Goldie Wolfe Miller, SIOR, is a pioneer in the commercial real estate industry and an inspiration to many. She will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Leadership Breakfast during SIOR’s Fall 2023 Event in Chicago on Oct. 13.
Wolfe Miller began her career at Arthur Rubloff & Company, where she became their first female VP. Despite facing adversity as one of few women in a male-dominated field, she proved her talent and dedication by becoming one of the top brokers nationally.
In addition to being a successful broker, Wolfe Miller also started her own tenant-rep firm called Goldie B. Wolfe & Co., which grew into a $3-billion business before being acquired by CBRE in 1998.
Her success can be attributed to her background in advertising and ability to effectively communicate ideas within short time frames – skills that are crucial for sales and pitching products or services.
After selling her company, Wolfe Miller turned towards philanthropy with The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders In Real Estate Initiative at Roosevelt University. This program provides scholarships for graduate-level studies as well as networking opportunities and mentoring from senior members of the real estate community.
Since its launch in 2007, The Goldie Initiative has expanded to include universities throughout Chicago and Midwest regions with plans for further growth across other parts of the country.
At SIOR’s Fall Event next year , attendees will have an opportunity to hear from this trailblazing leader about leadership principles such as commitment and outreach that have guided her success over decades spent working within CRE industry circles .
