Endeavor's Prodigious Austin Mixed-Use Project Gets the Go-Ahead

After months of negotiation, Endeavor Real Estate Group was granted approval from the Austin City Council to move forward with their development plans. According to the Austin Business Journal, Endeavor intends to construct a vibrant mixed-use district featuring 1,400 residential units, over 400,000 square feet of office space and more than 100,000 square feet of retail space in addition to a 220-room hotel near Cesar Chavez Street East Seventh Street and U.S Route 183.

The 21 acre parcel is currently occupied by an old Borden Dairy on the Colorado River and will now be able accommodate buildings up 120 feet tall – potentially 10 or 12 stories high! On their website Endeavor boasts its commitment “to creating projects that leave a lasting legacy” since 1999; “projects designed with consideration for our markets environment as well as successful outcomes for all stakeholders”.
