Endeavor Real Estate Group has held onto the property at 600 E. Riverside Drive in Austin for more than a decade. After 11 years, the company is now making a move, filing a planned unit development (PUD) application for the 1.75-acre site.

According to a recent report by the Austin Business Journal, the proposed development would feature 200 residential units and 8,000 square feet of space for restaurants or retail. The building could reach up to 510 feet in height. The site is currently occupied by a gaming arcade.

If approved, this project would join a surge of major developments within the city’s South Central Waterfront area. Other nearby projects include Hunt Companies’ plans for three mixed-use towers at 200 E. Riverside Drive, as well as a 480-foot tower at 311–315 S. Congress Avenue.

In addition to the Riverside development, Endeavor is also leading the redevelopment of the former Austin American-Statesman office site and managing a 21-acre project along the Colorado River in East Austin.

These developments are part of a broader transformation of Austin’s urban core, driven by increasing demand for high-density, mixed-use projects.
