**Empire Communities Proposes 455-Unit Residential Development Near Topgolf in Atlanta**
Empire Communities is seeking approval from the City of Atlanta to develop a 455-unit multifamily residential community adjacent to the Topgolf location at 1280 Chattahoochee Avenue. The proposed project would rise across from The Works, an 80-acre mixed-use development featuring retail, dining, and rental housing.
The planned development includes a mix of 105 for-sale townhomes and 350 rental apartments. In addition, the site would incorporate 747 parking spaces and encompass roughly 448,000 square feet of gross leasable space. At its tallest point, the project would stand 75 feet high.
Design and planning for the community are being managed by the national design firm Kimley-Horn.
With a 30-year track record, Empire Communities is one of North America’s largest privately held homebuilders. The company has completed work in more than 100 urban and suburban communities across Toronto, Southwestern Ontario, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Colorado. Since its founding in 1993, Empire has constructed over 35,000 homes and condominiums, representing nearly $15 billion in housing sales.
The property at 1280 Chattahoochee Avenue is currently under contract. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
