"Embraer to Invest $70 Million in New Ft. Worth Maintenance Facility"

Embraer has announced plans to expand and invest in its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services network in the United States. This expansion is aimed at supporting the growing fleet of E-Jets. The company will be opening a new service center at Fort Worth’s Perot Field Alliance Airport, which is owned by Embraer.

The investment for this project is estimated to reach $70 million and it is expected to create around 250 new aviation jobs in Texas. Operations are set to begin at an existing hangar by early 2025 while construction of a second hangar will be completed by 2027. With these additional facilities, Embraer’s capacity for serving E-Jet customers will increase by 53% in the U.S.

According to Carlos Naufel from Embraer, “We have had a strong partnership with the State of Texas for many years and we are excited about our collaboration with Hillwood at Alliance.” He also added that this new service center will generate hundreds of highly skilled jobs within an important sector of the aviation industry.

Overall, this investment demonstrates Embraer’s commitment towards expanding its presence in North America while providing quality MRO services for their growing customer base.
