El Paso Job Market Booms: Marshall's Distribution Center Creates 1,000 New Jobs

Marmaxx Operating Corporation, a TJX company that owns Marshalls, Home Goods and TJ Maxx recently opened a distribution center in El Paso at 3900 Global Reach Dr. The facility is expected to create around 1,000 new jobs and generate over $31 million in tax dollars for the community. Andrew Mastrangelo of TJX stated they are slowly ramping-up operations with full operation anticipated later this year. Tax incentives were approved by the city and county contingent on meeting specific investment and job requirements; current positions available include general warehouse roles as well as others.
