El-Ad National Properties has unveiled plans for its upscale 2.8 million-square-foot mixed use rental residential apartment and commercial project, The District in Davie, FL. This is the largest multi-family project in Davie’s history and is expected to be a $1 billion endeavor. Construction of The District in Davie will begin by mid 2023 with preleasing commencing early 2025; completion of the first phase is anticipated for 2025. Cooper Carry of Atlanta serves as architect while EDSA from Fort Lauderdale acts as landscape architect on this ambitious undertaking.
Located at 4801–4999 S State Road 7 Broward County, The District will include 1.6 million square feet of Class A residential apartments within approximately 1,256 units plus 36,000 square feet dedicated to restaurants and retail space; access controlled onsite parking totaling 1.1 million square feet will also be available for tenants’ convenience near Fort Lauderdale and Miami’s urban core areas
