**EdgeCore Expands Mesa Data Center Campus with Major Land Purchase and Development Plans**

EdgeCore has acquired nearly 44 acres of land in Mesa, Arizona, at a cost of $1 million per acre, as part of an ambitious expansion of its data center campus. The land purchase will support the construction of three additional buildings and a new Salt River Project substation, designed to handle an additional 250 megawatts of power.

Upon completion of its expansion, EdgeCore’s campus will encompass up to six buildings. This includes the company’s initial $150 million investment in a 180,000-square-foot data center and two other facilities currently under construction. Once fully built out, the Mesa data center campus will offer more than 3.1 million square feet of space and a total power capacity exceeding 450 megawatts.

To finance the expansion, EdgeCore secured $1.9 billion from a consortium of banks led by TD Securities.

The development comes amid significant growth in Phoenix’s data center market. According to CBRE, the region’s total data center inventory has increased by 67% year over year, reaching 602.8 megawatts, which ranks it as the fourth largest primary data center market in North America.
