Edelman & Edelman PC, a law firm specializing in construction injury and civil litigation, has recently signed a lease for 10,000 square feet at 60 Broad St., a prominent office tower in the Financial District. The building is owned by Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Inc. and the law firm will be relocating from their current location at nearby 61 Broadway.
This move is part of several new deals that have been made since Piedmont completed renovations on the property with help from New York architect MA | Morris Adjmi Architects – who also happens to be one of the building’s tenants. According to Bob Wiberg, EVP for Northeast region at Piedmont: “This transaction showcases how 60 Broad strives to stand out as a top choice for tenants who value employee experience.” He also noted that high-quality space remains an important factor driving leasing activity in today’s market.
The deal was brokered by JLL agency team led by executive managing director John Wheeler along with SVP Robin Olinyk and associate VP Thomas Swartz representing Piedmont. CBRE SVP Rob Wizenberg represented Edelman & Edelman during negotiations.
